Collection: Warranty Policy
Last updated: September 24, 2026.
This policy is published by Super Good Electronic Technology Limited, trading as EDIKANI.
1. Scope of Terms
This policy sets out the manufacturer's warranty that applies to products you buy from EDIKANI: who is covered, what is covered, what is not covered, and the service you can expect from us when something goes wrong.
It applies alongside your legal rights and alongside our Refund Policy. Where a product arrives damaged, defective or with parts missing, or where you want to return or exchange it, the Refund Policy applies rather than this warranty.
2. Intended Use
(a) Some of our models are for off-road use only. Please check the law in your state.
(b) Intended use. These models are designed for use on private property and closed courses. They are not street legal and are not certified to U.S. federal motor vehicle safety standards (FMVSS). We make no representation that they may be registered or plated for public-road use.
(c) Misuse. Using these models on public roads, or in any other way inconsistent with the use described in (a), is misuse and is not covered by this warranty — as is any damage, injury or defect arising from such use, or from use in violation of applicable law.
3. Who Is Covered
3.1) Warranty period
The whole machine is covered for 1 year. The key components are covered for the periods shown in the table below.
- The warranty starts from the date of delivery, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Warranty terms in other regions: where consumer-protection law where you live gives you a longer period than we state here, we will provide after-sales service in line with that law.
- Parts substitution: we may use replacement parts, materials or equipment of equal quality and value that meet our standards when necessary.
| Component | Warranty period | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Frame | 1 year (frame body only) | Labor for transferring components is not included |
| Battery | 1 year | — |
| Motor | 1 year | — |
| Controller / Display | 1 year | — |
| Charger | 1 year | — |
| Other original parts and components | 1 year | — |
| Wear parts (brake pads, tires, inner tubes, chain, cables) | Not covered | Normal wear and tear |
3.2) Eligibility
- This warranty applies to products bought from the EDIKANI official website or an authorized EDIKANI distributor.
- The warranty belongs to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to anyone else.
- Gifted products and second-hand purchases are not covered. Where you bought a bike second-hand, warranty cover is not available to you; we can still supply replacement parts at our normal prices, as set out in 6.4.
- Bikes bought through non-EDIKANI channels are not covered.
- Where a bike is recorded as stolen in our system, it is not eligible for warranty coverage.
- Registration is optional. You can register by scanning the QR code on the frame or by submitting your order details on our website, which helps us deal with your claim more quickly — but registration is not a condition of cover, and we can verify your purchase from our own order records.
- We may ask for proof of purchase to confirm your warranty.
4. What Is Covered
We will repair or replace any component that we determine to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal use. The sections below describe how this applies to each part of the product.
4.1) Frame
EDIKANI frames are covered by a replacement warranty for 1 year. This includes a replacement frame only — labor for transferring parts to a replacement frame is not included. Our service representative determines whether a frame meets the replacement standard.
The following are not covered:
- Corrosion.
- Cosmetic damage: paint fade, scratches and surface marks.
- Impact damage — structural damage from a crash or collision.
- Non-reversible modification, such as drilling or welding.
4.2) Battery
EDIKANI batteries are covered for 1 year. A battery that we determine to be defective will be repaired or replaced at no cost to you. Where a battery is repaired or replaced, the warranty period continues to run from the original date of purchase. Batteries can only be assessed as defective by EDIKANI.
The following are not covered:
- Charging with a charger not intended or appropriate for the battery.
- Using a battery charger improperly.
- A battery whose seals are broken or show evidence of tampering.
- Use of the battery in equipment other than the bike it is specified for.
4.3) Parts and components
Original EDIKANI parts and components are covered by a 1-year limited warranty, and we cover the shipping cost of replacement parts for the whole warranty period — shipping a warranty part costs you nothing.
The following are not covered:
- Labor charges for replacing or changing over a part, except where we agree otherwise in writing.
- Parts compromised by corrosion from exposure to the elements, such as moisture or heat.
5. What Is Not Covered
The following exclusions apply to the frame, the battery, and to parts and components alike. They are additional to the specific exclusions listed in 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3.
- Defects or damage resulting from accidents, abuse, misuse or abnormal use — including stunt riding, racing, or any other activity inconsistent with the intended use described in 2.
- Improper storage, or abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt.
- Neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress.
- Defects or damage caused by private or unauthorized modification.
- Scratches, dents and cosmetic damage, unless caused by EDIKANI.
- Products whose serial number or bar code has been removed, defaced, altered or made illegible.
- Defects or damage caused by using accessories or ancillary equipment not furnished or approved by EDIKANI for the Product.
- Defects or damage caused by assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair or adjustment that varies from the Assembly Instructions or the Owner's Manual.
- Defects or damage from external causes — collision, fire, flooding, windstorm, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather, theft, blown fuses, or improper use of any electrical source.
- Ordinary wear and tear not resulting from defective workmanship or materials. Whether a failure is wear and tear is assessed by EDIKANI.
Where an item you received does not match your order, or arrives damaged, defective or with parts missing, that is handled under Section 2.3 of our Refund Policy. The circumstances in which no free replacement or refund is provided are listed in Section 3 of our Refund Policy.
6. Making a Claim
6.1) How to submit a claim
Email Customer Service at service@edikani.com with the following:
- Your order number.
- The email address and shipping address you used when you placed the order.
- Photographs or a short video of the problem, together with a brief description of it.
We respond to all after-sales enquiries within 1 business day, excluding public holidays, and our technical team will normally diagnose the issue within the same period. Please also check our FAQ and manuals first — some issues can be resolved in a few minutes without a replacement part.
We need the information above to proceed. Without it — in particular the order number and photographs or a short video of the problem — we are not able to diagnose the fault or move your claim forward.
6.2) Parts, labor and DIY service
- We may provide both parts and labor, or we may direct that you replace certain parts yourself.
- DIY Parts Service. Where we determine that DIY service is available to you, we will send you a replacement part together with installation instructions. Whether any labor cost relating to DIY service is reimbursed is decided by EDIKANI.
- In most cases we do not require you to send the defective part back to us.
6.3) Shipping costs for warranty service
- We cover the shipping cost of replacement parts for the whole warranty period.
- Where we do need a part returned for inspection, we provide the return label — you only need to print it and attach it — and the risk of loss or damage while the part is in transit to us is ours, not yours.
- Replacement parts are shipped only to the address of the original purchaser.
6.4) Repairs outside the warranty
Even where a problem is not covered by this warranty, you can buy replacement parts from us. As the manufacturer we offer competitive prices on the parts for our bikes — email service@edikani.com for details.
Please do not send a bike back to us without emailing us first. If you have a problem with the product, contact us and our customer support team will work through it with you.
7. Shipping Damage
Damage to a covered component during shipping is not covered by this Limited Warranty. We will nevertheless replace a covered component damaged in shipping where you do all three of the following:
- Report it within 7 days of delivery. What to do at the door, and in the first 48 hours, is set out in Section 4 of our Shipping Policy.
- Provide a dated photograph of the damaged component, and of the outer packaging on all sides.
- Ask the carrier to note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before you sign, and keep the packaging and all packaging materials until your case is closed.
Shipping-damage claims are time-sensitive: the carrier's process requires damage to be recorded at the point of delivery, so please inspect your shipment as soon as you receive it.
If you purchased Seel Shipping Protection, claim with Seel first — that is the primary route — and tell us as well, so that we can follow your case and cover any shortfall where Seel's payout is less than a verified loss. See Section 8 of our Shipping Policy and Section 2.4 of our Refund Policy.
If you arrange your own shipping method, such as a freight forwarder or a similar service, we will not replace components damaged during that shipment.
8. Other Terms
(a) Credit card chargebacks. If an e-bike purchase becomes subject to a credit-card chargeback in any amount, and you are still in possession of the bike, we suspend warranty service for that product while the chargeback is pending. Once the chargeback has been resolved or withdrawn, warranty service resumes under this policy.
(b) Wear and tear assessment. Whether a part has failed through ordinary wear and tear, rather than through a defect in materials or workmanship, is assessed by EDIKANI.
(c) Proof of purchase. We may ask you for proof of purchase in order to confirm that your warranty applies.
9. Limits of Liability
The remedies described in this policy are your sole and exclusive remedies, and EDIKANI's entire liability, for any breach of this Limited Warranty.
EDIKANI's liability will not exceed the actual amount you paid for the product. We are not liable for any consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages or losses, whether direct or indirect. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, EDIKANI disclaims all implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, for the duration of this express limited warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any right you have under the law that applies to you and that cannot be excluded by agreement, and nothing in this policy limits any right you have under our Refund Policy.
