Are the TOP-S80 electric bike waterproof?
TOP-S80 : This model features Standard IP5X Protection. It is excellent at keeping dust out and is water-resistant enough for daily riding and light rain, but we recommend seeking shelter during heavy downpours.
How to switch between kilometers and miles?
Press the "M" button to switch the setting number from P01 to P20, then press "+" or "-" to adjust the value of each setting.
The password is 9999, and the password cannot be changed.
Switch to P02, value: 0 (represents kilometers), 1 (represents miles)
After making changes, press "+" and "-" simultaneously for 5 seconds to exit.
Note: Please do not arbitrarily change other parameters unless you understand the meaning of each parameter.
What is the dial on the front fork for?
The Red Dial (Lockout):
This turns the suspension ON or OFF.Open: Use this for bumpy roads or off-road riding to absorb shocks.Lock: Use this for flat, paved roads or climbing hills. It makes the fork rigid to save your energy and increase speed.
The Bronze/Brown Dial (Preload):
This adjusts the Stiffness (Softness) of the suspension.You can twist it to make the suspension softer (for lighter riders or comfort) or harder (for heavier riders or sporty riding)."
Why does the battery get hot while charging?
Regarding the heat: During the charging process (while the light is red), the charger converts high-voltage current, which naturally generates heat. It is normal for the charger case to feel warm or hot to the touch.
Why does a warning light appear on the screen when I brake?
The symbol you see on the screen is the Motor Cut-off Indicator. It appears whenever you pull the brake levers to show that the safety system has temporarily cut power to the motor. This ensures the motor stops pushing while you are trying to slow down.
